Touch screen makes your control of computer or lcd video wall or other lcd products more easily. There is no need to use a mouse and keyboard. You can covert lcd to a touch screen if you install some kits available. The kits can contain a clear screen overlay to put over the monitor, a screen controller and universal serial bus or other cable type. Ensure that the touch screen overlay is the same size of the computer monitor and is installed over the monitor in the monitor case.

Up plug the monitor power cord. Remove the screws holding on the housing together on the back of the monitor to open the computer monitor housing carefully.

Use a microfiber cleaning cloth to clean the computer monitor screen and touch screen overlay from the conversion kit thoroughly. You are advised to clean both surfaces since it will be difficult for you to clean after the upgrade is complete. Orient your computer to face the screen upward. Then, remove the front monitor frame and install the touch screen overlay over the computer monitor. Ensure that orient the correct side outward that is intended for touch.

Replace the front monitor frame over the screen overlay. Then set your monitor back to an upright position. Plug in the video cable for the monitor to your computer and the power cord.

Plug in cable or USB that came with the kit from the screen overlay controller to your computer. The touch screen overlay will be installed. Use the installed program to calibrate the touch screen overlay. You still need the old computer monitor will stil be used to display video through the touch screen overlay.
